HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY KAMBREE!!!

Kam turned 4 the end of June. It's so crazy to me that she is already 4. She has quite the personality and is fun to have around (sometimes). In fact, as I am typing this, she is sassing off to me and I want to sell her. Oh boy!!

She wanted a Littlest Pet Shop party and when I took her to the store to check out the cakes she noticed they only had TWO LPS's on them...how dare them?! She wanted a cake with "like a hundred" pet shops. So, I had the cake made and then decorated it myself with the LPS's. It actually turned out really cute and she LOVED it!!

If you look closely, you can see her little hand on the left side of the cake. What's she doing? COUNTING the LPS's to make sure there was enough!!

Now it was time to share the bat and let the other kids hit the pinata. HA. What you don't see? Kam crying hysterically behind the camera. She was SO mad she had to share the bat with all the other kids. Ya know the song: "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to"...yep. That was Kam...to a T.

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday. Kam blew out the candles twice before we started singing and then she couldn't even wait for us to finish the song before she blew them out again!

THE NEXT DAY:

Then we went to the park and had lunch. Whatever the birthday girl wanted!

Kam got this cute swimming suit from my friend for her birthday and she won't take it off. I have to sneak it in the wash at night. (You can kind of see my new wall color in this pic too.)

FATHER'S DAY & "LOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK"

I know I am SUPER late posting this, but blogger (or my computer) hates me for some reason and won't let me post pics.

Father's Day:

We started the day by going to B's parent's house. I took the camera, but forgot about it and left it in the truck...dang! The kids and B went for a dip in the pool and loved every minute of it!!

Then we headed to my parent's cabin in Strawberry for a BBQ. I did remember to use my camera!!! It's a MiRaClE!!

The kids went on 4-Wheeler rides. Ryder, Taylor & Graden.

THEN we got home. Kam and Ryder took a bath together. Out of NOWHERE Kam gets a bloody nose. And blood is everywhere. Well, she thinks it is funny so she starts smearing it all over her stomach and then she would try to get Ryder with it (who is freaking out..by the way)!! Kambree keeps saying over and over "where is the blood coming from?" We would tell her it was coming from her nose and she would say "no, it's not my blood. Where is the blood from?" She never got it!! But B and I were laughing so hard because she seriously didn't think it was her blood and wanted to know where it was coming from!

Oh...Good Times!!

TODAY I WILL BLOG!!

These pictures are old, but better late than never...right?!

First there was Memorial Day Weekend. We went camping to Mayfield and it was a rainy sucker. Seems all our camping trips get rained out these days....we did get ONE day without rain! ;)

Aunt Pat brought bug catchers for the kids. And they LOVED them. The kids caught red ants, spiders and grasshoppers. And in case you were wondering, red ants eat grasshoppers.

Then Kam decided the dog needed a turn carrying her bug catcher. So, she put it around the dog's neck...


Then there was the last day of school:

Apparently, the kids don't sign yearbooks anymore. They autograph each other's skin, clothes, bike's, scooter's.........


THEN, they take it down the street and autograph the mailbox:

My sister's dog had baby puppies and Kam is IN LOVE!!! She loves the puppies with all her heart. Too bad her dad is mean and won't let her have one....


Oh YES, and then my brother in law raced in the Squaw Peak 50 mile trail run. 50 MILES, people, in the mountains. He finished in 9 hours and 36 minutes (beating last year's time by 2 1/2 hours). What an awesome accomplishment.

Might I add, when he crossed the finish line, he wasn't even out of breath or really breathing hard. I don't know how these runners do it, but it is AMAZING to watch.


TO END THE DAY: I WATCHED THESE BEAST'S:

I know, I know, that's not very nice. The thing is, is that this little one:

is the cutest little thing EVER. I'm not kidding. She's even cuter than my own kids.

HOWEVER, those 2 older girls in the picture: N-A-U-G-H-T-Y!!!!!!


They yell, they fight, they scratch, they pull hair, they call names, they spill water ALL over my carpet, they don't listen, they dump out my salt and pepper shakers ALL over the kitchen floor to make "coffee"...oh, they are the EXACT opposite of that little cutie pie they are with in the picture!!!


Other things going on at the FRY household:

Kambree loves the fact that she knows how to rhyme and does it quite often. Example's: sock & clock, pig & wig and my FAVORITE bank & skank. oh. help. me. please.

I know, I don't have a lot of pics of Ry, but it's because that kid is NEVER home. Only to eat, sleep & use the bathroom. Seriously. One night while he was in the shower I was getting after him for never being home and taking care of his pet, and room, etc., to which he replied: "I know, I know mom. But, it's just that I don't have any time. I just have to be out at the jumps all day practicing and getting good so I can get SPONSORED!"

How funny! There are some jumps that someone has built behind our house and all the neighorhood kids go out there and ride their BMX bikes. I think it's cute that they all want to get sponsored.

The kids ARE pretty good on their bikes though. They CAN do some pretty cool tricks, hopefully they will get sponsored!!

Both Kambree and Ryder had their graduations last week. There were SO many people at Ry's plus the seating sucked, so I didn't get any pictures of him :(, but he is so cute and so fun to watch!! Now Kambree's graduation on the other hand was both HILARIOUS and EMBARASSING. I didn't put leggings on her because it was so hot that day and boy do I regret that. The story goes:

Singing (usually 2 seconds behind everyone else. so cute though.)

And then it happened. She would show the "audience" her panties and everyone would laugh, so she would keep doing it. After several dirty looks from me, I finally went up behind her (during the program) and whispered in her ear (with a smile on my face) "If you show your panties one more time I am taking you to the car and beating you!" As I walked away, she did that pose above and apparently every time I would turn my head she would flash everyone and then giggle. It was SO annoying. After the program a mom came up to me and said "at least she kept her panties on." Yep, thank goodness she did.

All done with school for the year!! Good job on the program Kam, (minus the flashing parts) you did great and I love you lots!!!!

2 THINGS:

Ryder insists on wearing those socks with shorts and shoes because he hates "mini" socks. WHY?!?!

Kam had CIRCUS DAY at school last week. So, we dressed her up silly!!

RY'S BIRTHDAY WEEK!!!

My little guy turned 7 on the 7th. We were suppose to have his family party on Sunday, but Kam and I came down with the flu. Not the SWINE flu, people, just the stomach flu....YUCK!!! So, we rescheduled and had his party on Tuesday. He wanted a "motocross" cake and that is just what he got! Well, I tried, at least!

While we sang Happy Birthday to him, he made his stomach sing Happy Birthday along with us....don't ask. I have NO idea where that came from.

And then it looks like his shirt came off:

And got some good stuff.

Including an awesome Nerf Gun that shoots out 3 bullets per second (SOOO fun), roller blades, a scooter and some cash!! Thanks to everyone who came!

Thursday was his REAL birthday. I woke him up with breakfast in bed (waffles, peaches, juice and a candle on top). He LOVED it. He even got to eat breakfast in the living room while watching cartoons.

Kam and I took Wolverine cupcakes to his class and then after school we went to Toys R Us and Ry was told he could pick out whatever he wanted. He chose: a didj (handheld gaming device) with an Indiana Jones game to go with it.

On the way home we passed some goats and with his best "mom, it's my birthday can we please stop" voice. We stopped and the owners were out, so they let the kids in the cage to chase the coats and hold the 2 week old baby goats. Highlight of his (and Kam's) day!!!

Then, it was off to fishing lessons with Grandpa Brent, Grandma Becky, Grandpa Larry & Grandma Glenda. Even though it was his birthday, he still didn't catch any fish... :(

After fishing lessons was his birthday dinner that he was SO excited about. He got to choose the menu and it was:

Then Friday was his FRIEND party. We invited 19 1st graders and 15 showed up. I am crazy, I know this.

We opened presents:

played games and had a BANANA SPLIT BAR. (Ry chose this instead of cake & ice cream). The bar had:

The kids LOVED it!! All in all it was a great birthday week for Ry. Now, I am exhausted. And he has a sugar high.

SUPERCROSS

Brandon took Ryder to Supercross a couple of weeks ago. They went with our friends Steve and Ashley and their little boy Corbin. They had a great time, despite the rain and the migraine B got towards the end (they had to leave early because of it). Ryder was SO excited to go!!!!

HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY TO ME....

I celebrated my 27th birthday last week. I'm getting old, I know! My birthday was good. My in-laws took me & Kam to lunch at La Casita. B, Kam and I (Ryder thought it would be more fun to go to Grandma Glenda's house...:() went to dinner later that night and then we did cake and ice cream at my house! My SIL, Bree, didn't think I should have to make my own cake on my birthday so she made me this:

Ryder gave me the movie Twilight and I think he was WAY more excited than I was. I've already seen it 3 times, but he has been dying to see it. So, we watched it that night and he LOVED it...funny boy!

Then on Friday night, we had a little get together at my house with some friends. Thanks for those who came. And for those of you who didn't show...you suck! ;)

All in all it was a great birthday. Now, it's time to start planning for Ryder's!
