FISH RODEO

Every year we go to the Spanish Fork FISH RODEO with my siblings and their kids. It's a pretty fun event and the kids LOVE it (when they don't have to wait because the fish are late...). The fish were over an hour late, which had some kids grumpy, some people in line getting pushy, parent's pissed and even some mom's crying!! It was HILARIOUS!!!

They give each one of the kids a plastic baggie and they go into the pond area (about 20 kids at a time) and find a volunteer to help them. Then they get in the pond that is filled with fish and try to catch one!! Kam was worried that the fish would bite her toes, but luckily not one fish took a bite at her!

After the FISH RODEO, we walk through the park and do some activities. They have bounce houses:



HAHA Apparently the bounce houses give some kids wedgies! :) I didn't notice him doing that until just now!!

And they have a tent full of games and face tattoos:



It was a HOT but fun filled day!

POOL DAYS

It's so nice to be able to go to the in-law's and swim ALL BY OURSELVES!!! Ryder started swim lessons a few weeks ago and is a fish in the water. He can swim all the way across the pool, he is learning to dive, he plays in the "deep end", all without a life jacket...(sniff, sniff). I am so proud of his swimming abilities, but it makes me sad to know how fast he is growing up.

FOURTH OF JULY

We started the day with some serious waffles. Hello ReD, wHiTe & BlUe:

We had some friends over for a BBQ & roasted marshmallows over the fire. The night ended with fireworks (and mosquito bites)!

NEED SOME EXTRA CASH?

Remember this little sweetie pie?

First, I was going to sell her. But, then I decided that wasn't going to work. After today's events (listed below) I realize I am going to have to PAY someone to take her.

Remember this was all in ONE day. Not even a full day.

Dumped out a 1/2 full bottle of detangler spray. On the carpet in her bedroom.

Squatted (I assume) and peed on her bedroom carpet. (Looks like the carpet cleaner is coming out?)

Threw everything out of her armoire and locked the ferret inside with blankets (because the ferret is her baby, after all).

Said ferret had an "accident" in the armoire.

Took the container of hair elastics from the bathroom and dumped all 3 million of them out onto her, you guessed it, bedroom floor.

Took a brand new roll of toilet paper from the bathroom, which she rolled into balls and then soaked in water. All in her bedroom. On the carpet.

Changed her clothes SO many times today her laundry basket is OVERFLOWING.

Drew all over my grocery list.

Managed to tease all the neighbor boys with her lovely antics. "Mason, I'm gonna kiss you." "Hey boys, who wants kisses?"

Oh yes. I almost forgot. She EVEN took a nap today....

Please pray for me. :) Or her if she continues to act this way.

While we were in the boat this weekend, Ryder noticed that I had some "cleavage" going on. I noticed he was staring so I asked him what he was looking at. And he said: "your boobs are squished together and it makes a line. It kinda looks like a butt-crack."

Awww...how precious is he?!?

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY KAMBREE!!!

Kam turned 4 the end of June. It's so crazy to me that she is already 4. She has quite the personality and is fun to have around (sometimes). In fact, as I am typing this, she is sassing off to me and I want to sell her. Oh boy!!

She wanted a Littlest Pet Shop party and when I took her to the store to check out the cakes she noticed they only had TWO LPS's on them...how dare them?! She wanted a cake with "like a hundred" pet shops. So, I had the cake made and then decorated it myself with the LPS's. It actually turned out really cute and she LOVED it!!

If you look closely, you can see her little hand on the left side of the cake. What's she doing? COUNTING the LPS's to make sure there was enough!!

Now it was time to share the bat and let the other kids hit the pinata. HA. What you don't see? Kam crying hysterically behind the camera. She was SO mad she had to share the bat with all the other kids. Ya know the song: "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to"...yep. That was Kam...to a T.

Presents galore!!

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday. Kam blew out the candles twice before we started singing and then she couldn't even wait for us to finish the song before she blew them out again!

THE NEXT DAY:

Kam wanted to have a special birthday party with her BFF, Ki. They went and got their toes painted.

They got watermelon's on their toes!! Sooo cute!

Then we went to the park and had lunch. Whatever the birthday girl wanted!

Kam got this cute swimming suit from my friend for her birthday and she won't take it off. I have to sneak it in the wash at night. (You can kind of see my new wall color in this pic too.)

Slip n Slide time!!!

Kam in her new get up!! She has wanted skates for so long and finally got some. Along with knee pads, elbow pads and a helmet. She kept falling on her bum, so she wanted to know where the butt pads were!!
