1ST CAMPING TRIP OF THE YEAR

We got our trailer out and went to Mayfield camping for Memorial Day Weekend. We had a great time, even though the weather was crappy. We got a lot of rain, hail, wind, clouds and sometimes if we were lucky...SUNSHINE!!! It was so nice to get out and go camping. The kids LOVED it and had so much fun playing with everyone!

Ryder hanging around the campfire...he couldn't wait to roast marshmallows!!
Kam sitting around the campfire.
Some of the "camping crew"!
Aaron & Jessie brought kites. And since it was windy, it worked out nicely when the sun came out. Thanks for letting us fly kites with you!!

Ryder had his Kindergarten Graduation Program on Thursday. It was also his last day of school. I cannot believe that next year he will be in the FIRST grade and in school ALL DAY LONG! He was so cute and kept looking over to make sure we were watching him. He even had a speaking part and did a great job remembering his line!! I am so proud of how much he has learned this year in school. He brought home all his work he did in school during the year and it was so fun to look through them and see how much he has grown! I'm glad I got to see all his work because I was starting to wonder if he was doing anything in school. Every day when he got home I would ask him what he learned at school or what he did and he would answer me EVERY TIME with "Umm...nothing!" That must be a boy thing because if Aspen (Ryder's friend who is in his class) was around when I asked him that, she would fill me in on EVERYTHING (and I mean EVERYTHING) that they did that day!

I didn't get very many pictures because I couldn't seem to get good pictures. I am still learning how to use my new camera and obviously I haven't got it down yet!!

Oh and by the way, I'm a big cry baby!! At the end, they did a slide show with pictures of the kids throughout the year and when the lights came on Brandon looked at me and said "Are you crying?". Yeah, I was. I know...big cry baby!!!

RYDER'S 1ST TBALL GAME

Ryder had his first TBall game last week. And if you haven't been to one, you should go. They are so freaking hilarious! There was one kid on our team that hit the ball, ran to first base on our field, then ran over to 3rd base on the field next to us, ran to their second base and then back to our second base. It was hilarious! Then, when the other team was up to bat and hit the ball either EVERY SINGLE kid on Ryder's team ran after it or no one at all. Ryder was on 2nd base waiting for the next kid on his team to hit. He hit the ball out past second base and instead of Ryder running to third base he ran out into outfield to get the ball. We were laughing so hard we had tears running down our cheeks!

Does the coach REALLY think the boys are going to listen to what he has taught them?

Waiting for a ball to come his way...and dancing at the same time!
This is the look we would get if he missed the ball!!

IS IT SUMMER YET?

Last Sunday, Chad & Bree invited me and the kids over to their house to play outside since it was such a nice day!! They swam in the little kiddie pool, put a sprinkler under the tramp and we even made snow cones! I bet the kids LITERALLY ate 7 snow cones a PIECE...is that much sugar considered child abuse?

The snow cones were good...and messy!!

Most of the kids in the pool...and Bree!! She is such a fun mom!

Ryder having fun getting WET!!
Dad and Graden enjoying the day! Graden was SO cute playing in the water.

WHAT'S MY NAME?

As I was dropping off Ryder to school yesterday, one of his little friends came up to the car waving at me and said "Hi, Ryder's mom!". Funny. I have a name, but it rarely gets used. These are the most popular:

Ryder's mom = most of Ryder's friends and sometimes when I get calls from doctor offices, etc.
Tiff = This one has become more popular over the last couple of years and is what I am called 95% of the time.
Tiffany = Doesn't get used very much...
Tiffy = There are only a select few that use this version of my name and I allow them to (Mom, Dad & Heather) if anyone else calls me "Tiffy" it creeps me out.
Mrs. Fry = Yes, I get called this quite frequently even though it is not technically true. Mostly by doctor offices, teachers, etc. But, the best is when someone calls Brandon, Mr. Bringhurst HAHA!
Bringhurst = There are also only a select few that call me this...but it works!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's in my life. Mom, you are the best and I love you! I started to write what I loved about every mom I know and the list started to get WAY too long. So, to my mom, mother-in-law, sisters, sister-in-laws, aunts, grandma's, cousins and friends...Happy Mother's Day!!!

RYDER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Here are some of the pictures from Ryder's birthday party. We didn't get very many because my camera's battery went dead... We had a lot of fun even though there were 22 children in my house (Thanks Heather & Bree for your help)! I filled up 100 black water balloons (cannon balls) and we were suppose to go outside and have a cannon ball fight, but it rained the whole time. Ryder & a few of the neighbor kids came over the next day after school and had the cannonball fight!
Welcome to the Pirate Party!
This is his "pirate" face. I guess pirates don't smile! :)
Kambree pretending to be Captain Jack Sparrow.Pirates Cake
Now that the Pirate Party is over I am going to start planning Kambree's Pink Princess Pool Party...lot's of P's I'd say!!

ANOTHER CONVERSATIONAL PIECE

Although I "officially" consider Kam potty trained, she still wears a Pull-Up at night. But, for the last several mornings her Pull-Up has been dry. SO, I tell her since she is being such a big girl I will take her to get an ice cream. As we are getting in the car, she tells me she wants a taco for her treat instead of an ice cream.

So, the conversation starts in the drive thru at Taco Bell and goes a little something like this:

Me: Kam, can you sing me a song while we wait for your treat?
Kam: (on tune) Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder where you eat your spaghetti.
Me: Hmmm...

The funniest part is that she was serious and was so proud she knew all the words. We don't even eat spaghetti...maybe we should sing more?

ArE yOu KiDdInG mE?

Yesterday we had a birthday party with all of Ryder's friends. All 22 of them. Yep, you heard me right! Not 5 or even 10 friends. I had TWENTY TWO kids running, screaming, yelling, playing, jumping, kicking, arguing and fighting all at once. To make matters worse, the weather was crappy, so we weren't able to go outside. I will post pictures of the chaos once my sanity returns!

CONVERSATIONS WITH THE BIRTHDAY BOY...

This morning, the conversation between Ryder and I went like this:

Ry: Mom, since it's my birthday I want pancakes for breakfast, lunch with Grandma Glenda at her school and Domino's for dinner.
Me: Ok, that's fine. Why don't you go get in the bathtub while I cook your pancakes.
Ry: I don't want to take a bath. I'm not dirty.
Me: Umm, yeah you are. Come on, I'll make you a bubble bath.
Ry: Ok, but do you think that since it's my birthday, you could feed me my pancakes while I take a bath.
Me: Umm, yeah, sure.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYDER!

Today is Ryder's 6th Birthday! I can't believe how the time flies. I love everything about the little guy. I love how he loves dinosaurs, and has for years now. He can tell you the name of every single dinosaur imaginable. I love how sweet he is and likes to cuddle with me! I love how he can't wait for Kam to start Kindergarten so he can pick her up from class and walk her home! Those are just a few of the many, many things I love about my Ry-Ry! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYDER!!!!
Ryder and Isabel when they were babies. I think Ryder is about 8 weeks old (I can tell from his Primary Children's Onesie) & Izzy is brand new. Heather, correct me if I am wrong!
He LOVES to pose...obviously!
What a cutie!!

MOTHER'S DAY

So, Brandon, if you ever read this blog and wonder "what should I get Tiff for Mother's Day?" I have something in mind...how about a diamond covered Mercedes. Price Tag: $4.8 million. I am worth that...right?!? OR for just a measly $1000, Prince Waleed of Saudi Arabia (who owns the car) will let me touch it.

BABY COHEN

We got a new nephew on April 2nd! Brandon's sister Janae had this precious little boy! Congratulations!

FRY HAPPENINGS...

I've been out of commission lately, but I'm back now! So, let the blogging begin!

RECAP OF THE LAST WEEK:
-Kam and I had a play date with some new friends, Isaac and Julie! We went to the park to play and we had a picnic! It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to do it again!
-We discovered the frozen yogurt at the new health food store in Spanish Fork (Beehive Health Essentials-next to Kmart) and hit it up twice in the same day for CHERRY frozen yogurt...YUM!!
-I spent 7 hours (literally) making invitations for Ryder's birthday party! Did I mention they were for his friends?!?!

-After 3 weeks with NO accidents, I am officially considering Kambree POTTY TRAINED!!!

Thanks to the "Potty" Treats" I have been using, I will probably be getting a thousand dollar dentist fee for doing it with candy...

-We went to Dagen's School Program and watched him sing and dance his little heart out...SO cute!
-Ryder started TBall. I can't wait to go watch his games...it's going to be a lot of fun (even though he has been scared to death of getting hit in the head with the ball).
-Grandpa Brent and Grandma Becky took Ryder to fishing lessons. Thanks so much for helping out!
-We went and saw our friends brand new baby, Ella Nicole. She is the sister to 4 big brothers and is the cutest little baby EVER. She has some sweet little dimples and she ALMOST makes me baby hungry...ok, not quite, but close!
-We finally replaced our broken camera...goodbye picture-less posts!
-I sold my Poison tickets on KSL (sniff, sniff).
-Ryder got a new bedroom set.

-Kambree learned to sing her ABC's and count to 11!
-We had a birthday party with our families for Ryder's 6th birthday!!! Ryder got a ton of new stuff (mostly Pirates of the Caribbean & Indiana Jones stuff). Thanks to everyone who came. We love you all!!
Most of the crew!
Blowing out his candles!!
Posing...what is with his hand on his chin?!?!?!
